Responsible for the efficient and effective running of the Steward Department ensuring that operating costs are minimized.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must show knowledge of the Kalahari Resorts company policies. Must be flexible in scheduling to include, nights, weekends, and holidays Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals. WORK ENVIRONEMENT: Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-3 years of hotel management or supervisory experience is preferred. KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: None required Strong leadership skills are highly recommended. Refined communication skills are necessary. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

LICENSE/PERMITS REQUIRED: Valid driver's license. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible to assist the Executive Steward in ensuring that all Banquets and other Food and Beverage outlets have the required quantities of sanitized equipment/supplies to meet the business needs of the Resort.ĮDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or equivalent
